Nostalgic Narcotic
Take me to a place that I once called home
Where my only company was being all alone
Where the sun shines for my indiscretion
And nothing but my pains needed my attention
In narcotic flavoured pipe dreams
Illuminated by the shining beams
Reveal the shorelines meant for me to wade
It's oxycodone has a point somewhere I should've stayed
The forests so enchanted and pristine
Offer reassurance with its flora of morphine
In the place by myself but no longer alone
Reminded by the company of oxymorphone
Taken adrift by demorol, this is where I'll fade
With black tar and fentanyl, many games are played
Under the brightest crescent moons shine
In a place where is peace I can call mine
A delusion I can dance with on the very fringes
The edge of paranoia where fire meets my bridges
Take me to the place of narcotic flavoured lust
Where I can fade with fentanyl and an opiated sleep
Drift away not to return, relief that I can keep
